कुछ तो मजबूरियाँ रही होंगी
کچھ تو مجبوریاں رہی ہوں گی
کچھ تو مجبوریاں رہی ہوں گی
कुछ तो मजबूरियाँ रही होंगी
یوں کوئی بے وفا نہیں ہوتا
यूँ कोई बेवफ़ा नहीں होता
वो आदमी नहीं रहा
وہ آدمی نہیں رہا
وہ آدمی نہیں رہا جو تم سے ملتا تھا
वो आदमी नहीं रहा जो तुमसे मिलता था
اب ایک اجنبی ہے جو تم سے ملتا ہے
अब एक अजनबी है जो तुमसे मिलता है
लोग टूट जाते हैं
لوگ ٹوٹ جاتے ہیں
لوگ ٹوٹ جاتے ہیں ایک گھر بنانے میں
लोग टूट जाते हैं एक घर बनाने में
تم ترس نہیں کھاتے بستیاں جلانے میں
तुम तरस नہیں کھاتے بستیاں جلانے میں
