कवि का परिचय
Shashi writes from the margins of memory and the center of longing — in Urdu, Hindi, and English, across the borders language draws and dissolves. His poetry is an act of listening: to the silences between words, to the weight of what is left unsaid.
शशि स्मृति के हाशिये और लालसा के केंद्र से लिखते हैं — उर्दू, हिंदी और अंग्रेज़ी में, उन सीमाओं के पार जो भाषा खींचती और मिटाती है।
The Mehfil — a gathering, a salon, a space where voices meet — is his metaphor for what poetry does: it calls people together across time, across distance, across the untranslatable.
महफ़िल — एक सभा, एक सैलून, एक ऐसी जगह जहाँ आवाज़ें मिलती हैं — यही उनकी कविता का रूपक है।
